Pool league begins sixth season with sign-up party
by Dave Wolf
Cleveland-The Shooters Pool League will begin their sixth season on October 6. There will be a sign up party at the Grid on Sunday, September 28 at 7 pm.
Teams are returning from Apex, Cocktails, the Leather Stallion, the Shed, Twist, Union Station and the Grid, both Basement and Orbit. Also, Flex will be sponsoring a team this year and Club Argos will be returning after a one-year break. This should be another exciting season to see which team can claim the championship from last year's winner, the Grid Basement team.
The league is also looking for additional players to fill some of the teams.
Games are played on Monday nights starting at 7:30 pm. The first half of the season runs from October to December. The second half runs from January to March followed by a single elimination playoff format until there is a champion.
If interested, contact David at davidsteeves@hotmail.com.
The Shooters Pool League would also like to thank all of their sponsors for their support.
Dave Wolf is commissioner of the Shooters Pool League.
